Eden Hazard Says Eberechi Eze Is A Better Dribbler Than Mohammed Kudus
Chelsea legend Eden Hazard has stirred the North London rivalry by claiming Eberechi Eze is a better dribbler than Mohammed Kudus, despite Kudus topping the Premier League dribbling charts this season.
Both players have made electrifying starts at their respective clubs since making high-profile moves across London — Eze shining for Arsenal and Kudus quickly becoming a key figure for Tottenham Hotspur.
“Eze Is Good. I Like Eze.” — Hazard
When asked to choose between the two dynamic attackers, Hazard — widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s greatest dribblers — gave his verdict with a smile.
“Ohhh, Eze is good. I like Eze,” Hazard told the Premier League (via TBR Football).
That short but telling statement was enough to ignite debates among fans online, especially as both players have showcased incredible flair and confidence this season.
Eze’s Dream Start At Arsenal
Since joining Arsenal, Eze has slotted perfectly into Mikel Arteta’s attacking setup. His creativity, footwork, and ability to glide past defenders have been central to the Gunners’ impressive run that sees them sitting atop the Premier League table.
Arsenal fans have already embraced him as a key piece in Arteta’s evolving system — a player who brings back memories of the stylish dribblers Arsenal have been known for over the years.
Kudus’ Statistical Supremacy
On the flip side, Mohammed Kudus’s numbers are hard to ignore. The 24-year-old Spurs forward currently boasts the most successful dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season — an eye-popping 30 completed dribbles, which is 12 more than any other player and 22 more than Eze.
Former Tottenham and England striker Jermain Defoe has praised Kudus’ influence, saying he’s already become “Thomas Frank’s main man” after only a few months in the league.
That dominance in stats makes Hazard’s opinion even more interesting — showing that sometimes, football’s greats value style, composure, and artistry just as much as raw numbers.
The Dribble Debate Continues
While Kudus may lead in measurable take-ons, Hazard’s words remind fans that dribbling is about more than just stats — it’s also about elegance, balance, and creativity.
For now, both Eze and Kudus are lighting up the Premier League in their own unique ways, bringing flair and excitement back to London football — something even Hazard himself would be proud of.
