Pep Guardiola Hails Arsenal As The Most Unstoppable Team In The Premier League
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has showered praise on Arsenal, labeling Mikel Arteta’s side as the “most unstoppable team” in the Premier League right now.
Speaking in an interview with the club’s official website, the Spanish tactician admitted that the Gunners are currently playing the best football in the league — both offensively and defensively.
“We are six points behind Arsenal, who look unstoppable right now because they play fantastic,” Guardiola said.
He highlighted Arsenal’s defensive solidity and attacking versatility as key reasons behind their dominant form.
“They don’t concede goals, they are so solid, they can score from many different situations, positions and many players,” he added.
Guardiola Still Confident In City’s Title Hopes
Despite acknowledging Arsenal’s brilliance, Guardiola remains optimistic about his side’s chances of catching up.
“Even with that, I think when we make this step a little bit better — when more players start scoring — we will be closer. Games will be tighter, and we will be able to win,” he noted.
The City manager believes his team’s momentum since the Club World Cup has been promising and insists there’s still a long way to go in the title race.
“I had the feeling since the Club World Cup that we were in a good moment,” he continued. “It’s just 10 games, still 28 to play. Many things are going to happen but the important feeling is to be better and better.”
Arsenal Flying High, City In Pursuit
With Arsenal sitting six points clear at the top, their impressive consistency has made them the benchmark for excellence this season. However, if there’s one team capable of mounting a late charge, it’s Guardiola’s Manchester City — a side that has mastered the art of chasing down leaders when it matters most.
As both teams gear up for the crucial festive fixtures, fans can expect this Premier League title race to heat up — with Guardiola’s respect for Arsenal only adding to the anticipation of their next clash.
