Troy Deeney Predicts Real Madrid Future For Bournemouth Star Antoine Semenyo
When A Premier League Veteran Like Troy Deeney Talks, The Football World Listens — Especially When He’s Talking About A Player Who’s Setting The League On Fire.
This time, Deeney’s spotlight is on Bournemouth’s red-hot forward, Antoine Semenyo, and his prediction is nothing short of jaw-dropping — “He’ll probably end up playing for Real Madrid.”
Yep, you read that right. Real Madrid!
The Ghanaian forward has been in sensational form this 2025/26 season, banging in six goals and providing three assists in just nine Premier League games. Only Erling Haaland has better numbers so far — and that’s saying a lot.
Under the management of Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth have been a revelation. They currently sit second on the table, just four points behind Arsenal, and Semenyo has been at the heart of everything good happening at the Vitality Stadium.
Even after the Cherries sold more than £200 million worth of players — including Milos Kerkez to Liverpool and Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid — Semenyo’s explosive pace, strength, and finishing have kept them flying high.
Troy Deeney, speaking on talkSPORT, said:
“I just don’t know if Semenyo can keep it up — do you know what I mean? If he does, then my God — he’ll probably end up playing for Real Madrid. But I think he’s very good, very powerful, very direct.”
The challenge has been set — maintain the momentum, keep scoring, and the sky (or maybe the Santiago Bernabéu) could be the limit.
With Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and even Real Madrid reportedly monitoring him, Semenyo’s rise could soon make him one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe.
Bournemouth tied him down until 2030 with a new contract in July 2025, but sources hint there’s a confidential release clause — lower than their current £100m valuation.
If that’s true, the big boys might already be getting their cheque books ready.
For now, though, Semenyo is Bournemouth’s golden boy — and as long as he keeps scoring, fans can keep dreaming.
Because when Troy Deeney says Real Madrid, you know it’s serious.
