Celtic Set For Brand-New Logo Change After Kit Agreement Reached

Celtic are set for a kit change and supporters are already excited as to what lies ahead.

Celtic are rumoured to be the next side promoted by popular kit manufacturer Adidas.

Members of the company’s ‘elite’ group include Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, with special perks being unlocked after doing so. This means a new design of their logo will be available on the front of their kits from the 2025/26 season.

An excitement hallmark of any partnership, Celtic have been paired up with Adidas since 2020 and reports have suggested an extension between the two parties is close to being agreed.

For the first time ever, Celtic’s new kits will feature the trefoil logo on the kits as well as heat-dry technology. The Hoops were previously in the B Premium Tier for kits but have earned a promotion much like Newcastle United and Roma did so ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

The Scottish giants have sported some huge manufacturer names in the past, having worn New Balance from 2015 to 2020. Nike was also in charge from 2005-2015, but it is Umbro who held the longest partnership, working together with the club from 1964-2005.

First Bank, Customs, MFM, Others Storm Lagos For Final 8

All the roads will lead to the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, venue of the Zenith Bank sponsored Nigeria Women’s Basketball Premier League final 8, to pick the eventual champion for the season.

In the qualifying phases played simultaneously in the Atlantic and Savannah Conferences held in Enugu and Abuja, respectively.

First Bank led the Atlantic conference qualifiers and joined by MFM, Dolphins and Bayelsa Whales. While Nigeria Customs as leaders in the Savannah conference is leading other teams, Titans, Royal Aces and Air Warriors to Lagos.

Speaking on the final 8 championship which will hold October 10-15, 2024, at the Indoor Hall of the National Stadium, President of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Engineer Ahmadu Musa Kida, restated the readiness of the NBBF, to organise an exciting and very competitive final 8 tournament that would eventually produce a worthy Nigerian champion.

He also commended the contributions of Zenith Bank to the development of the game in Nigeria.

“The final eight is a testament of Zenith Bank’s commitment to basketball and the Girl Child development.

“We commend them for standing alongside with the NBBF, to grow the game of basketball. The global achievements of D’Tigress, can only go to show how Zenith Bank’s commitment has helped turn around the game in Nigeria and Africa, as a continent,” Kida stated.
