West Ham United extend partnership with IT service provider Skye Cloud
The Premier League (PL) club, West Ham United (WHU) have signed a sponsorship extension with the IT service provider, Skye Cloud.
The agreement will allow West Ham to continue utilizing Skye’s cloud and server hosting services as well as Skye’s current agreements with the Premier League team as its official private server partner.
Since 2020, Skye has upgraded the Hammers’ IT infrastructure at a number of locations, including London Stadium, the Rush Green practice facility, and the Chadwell Heath practice facility.
In particular, the London Stadium will continue to advertise Skye Cloud on its LED advertising system, while West Ham also uses its social media platforms to spread the word about the company.
James Bishop, Skye Cloud Managing Director, said, “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with West Ham United. Over the past three years, our experience has been truly enjoyable and rewarding. To play a small part in the successes of last year has been an honour and we look forward to continuing our work together.”
West Ham United, Chief Commercial Officer, Nathan Thompson, said, “Our partnership with Skye Cloud has consistently yielded concrete results for the club by enhancing the functionality and successful maintenance of the club website. It has also contributed to the advancement of our network’s performance and secured a substantial reduction in downtime, furthering our fan’s experience. We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Skye Cloud and look forward to working with them throughout this season.”
Prior to this announcement, the Hammers also inked sponsorship deals with Dr. Cinik, Tomket Tyres, Marc Darcy, Lyca Mobile, and eToro. On the field, West Ham United are fourth on the points table, courtesy of winning three of their last four games. They next take on defending champions Manchester City on September 16.
