Harry Kane Dismisses Tottenham Return Rumors, Says He’s “Loving It” At Bayern Munich
England captain Harry Kane has played down growing speculation about a sensational return to Tottenham Hotspur, insisting he’s fully focused on life at Bayern Munich and “loving it” in Germany.
The Spurs legend, who netted 280 goals in 435 appearances for the North London club, made headlines last year when he joined the Bundesliga champions in a move worth over €100 million. But despite reports of a €65 million release clause that could allow him to leave next summer, Kane has made it clear that he’s not thinking about an early exit.
“I’m not sure [if I’ll go back]. I’m very happy here in Munich. [Leaving] is not something I’m thinking about,” Kane told The Daily Mail.
Still A Spur At Heart
While Kane remains emotionally tied to Tottenham — the club where he became one of the Premier League’s greatest strikers — he emphasized that his focus is on helping Bayern achieve success both domestically and in Europe.
“It’ll always be ‘we’ with Spurs because I spent my whole life there. I’m a fan of them and will always watch them and see how they’re getting on. They will always be a part of my life for sure, but as for now, I’m loving it here,” Kane added.
Transfer Talk Heats Up
Reports in England and Spain recently linked Kane with possible moves to Manchester United and Barcelona, while newly appointed Spurs boss Thomas Frank said he would “absolutely welcome” the striker back to North London after guiding the club to end their 17-year trophy drought last season.
Still, it seems Kane has no intention of cutting short his Bayern adventure — especially as he continues to chase his long-awaited first league title and a Champions League crown.
Kane’s Take On The Ronaldo vs Messi Debate
Off the pitch, Kane also weighed in on the Ronaldo vs Messi debate, calling himself “the best finisher in history” but acknowledging both icons’ unmatched impact on the sport. The Englishman’s confidence only underscores why he remains one of the deadliest strikers in the game.
