NYCFC Adds Rugs.com As New Partner
York City FC has announcing a groundbreaking partnership with Rugs.com which becomes the club’s Official Home Décor Partner, with the company becoming the official sleeve sponsor of the club’s Boys and Girls Academy teams.
Central to the collaboration is Rugs.com’s support of City in the Community (CITC), NYCFC’s non-profit foundation, through the innovative ‘Playing It Floorward’ campaign. The initiative will provide both monetary contributions and rug donations to fund programmes across New York’s five boroughs, showcasing how modern soccer sponsorships prioritise authentic community engagement.
Ara Sarajian, vice president of partnership development at New York City FC, emphasised the alignment of values saying: “As a family-owned business with a deep commitment to giving back, Rugs.com embodies the same values of connection, care, and loyalty that define our club and our city. Together, we look forward to creating moments that make our fans feel even more at home.”
Jasmine Karasek, co-owner and CFO of Rugs.com, highlighted the natural partnership fit adding: “Partnering with New York City FC was an easy call for us. We share the same values: work hard, do the right thing, and give back. NYCFC’s commitment to the city on and off the pitch mirrors how we built Rugs.com as a family-run, customer-obsessed, and community-minded organisation. Together, we’ll invest in initiatives that support local programs, create meaningful fan experiences, and deliver real impact where it matters most.”
No term or value was given for the partnership.
