Nasarawa Governor hosts Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer
The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, hosted Super Eagles goalkeper trainer, Olatunji Baruwa, in Lafia on Wednesday.
Governor Sule doled out an undisclosed amount of money to Baruwa at a brief reception held at the Government House in Lafia.
Baruwa is also Nigeria National League outfit, Nasarawa United goalkeper trainer.
The coach thanked the state number one citizen for his kind gesture.
“Your Excellency, Sir, I lack what to say because I am already emotional,” he stated.
“Nasarawa State has been nice to me. After my family, they are the next family I have.”
The Super Eagles finished in second position at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
