Osimhen rejoins group training at Napoli

Victor Osimhen has rejoined team training at Napoli ahead of this weekend’s home clash with Atalanta.

Osimhen has been working his way back to full fitness after missing the Serie A champion’s 1-1 draw against leaders Inter Milan just before the international break.

The 25-year-old also pulled out of Nigeria’s squad for the friendlies against Ghana and Mali.

The striker has now recovered from the minor injury and is expected to be included in Napoli’s squad for the game against Gian Piero Gasperini’s men.

Osimhen has scored 11 goals in 17 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.

Napoli will welcome Atalanta to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Saturday.
