U17 Girls Volleyball C’ship: Nimrod Tips Nigeria To Beat Cameroon again
The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod has challenged Team Nigeria to beat Cameroon in the semifinals of the 2023 Girl’s U17 African Nations Volleyball Championship in Abuja.
Nimrod urges technical crew to have a good game plan ahead of the semi final match on Wednesday (today) by 4pm.
He said the three participating countries which includes Nigeria, Cameroon and Egypt have automatically qualified for the World Championship.
He said, “I have confidence that these girls will do well. I urge the technical team and the players to have a good match so that they will also win the semi final match on Wednesday.
“We have all gotten the tickets and the important thing now is the ranking and I can assure you that our girls are good.
“Cameroonians are very tough and tall; that is why they gave us little problems in the game. Coaches in the various states and academies need to identify, convince and properly train tall players in order to make the job of the Federation easier during national camping for international championships.
Nigeria will meet Cameroon in the semi final on Wednesday.
