Alvaro Morata And Alice Campello Separate Again As Marriage Reconciliation Collapses
Alvaro Morata’s efforts to rebuild his marriage to Alice Campello have reportedly come to an end, with fresh reports confirming the couple have separated for a second time. The Como striker is said to have moved out of the family home in Milan, marking another painful chapter in the high-profile relationship.
The development comes just a year after the couple reunited following an initial separation in August 2024, ending hopes that their seven-year marriage could be salvaged.
Reconciliation Ends As Couple Begin Living Apart
Morata and Campello’s relationship has long played out under public scrutiny. After announcing their first split last summer—shortly after Morata captained Spain to European Championship success—the pair shocked fans by rekindling their romance in January.
At the time, Campello described their separation as “the biggest mistake we’ve ever made,” crediting Morata’s loan move to Galatasaray for giving them space to reconnect and heal.
However, Spanish outlet Hola now reports that the reunion has not endured. The couple have reportedly been living separately for several weeks, with Morata relocating to a property in an exclusive area of Milan.
The striker has moved out of the home he shared with Campello and their four children—twins Alessandro and Leonardo, along with Edoardo and Bella. While neither Morata nor Campello has released an official statement, images of the Como forward waiting at the family gates to collect one of his children underline the reality of their separation.
Despite the emotional strain, sources suggest the pair remain on good terms and are prioritising co-parenting for the wellbeing of their children.
Campello Shuts Down Third-Party Speculation
As with many celebrity breakups, speculation has followed swiftly. Campello recently took to social media to firmly deny rumours suggesting a third party was involved in the breakdown of the marriage.
Reports had linked Morata to Elena Sirigu, a sports management professional, prompting Campello to publicly defend her friend.
“Elena is a family friend whom I’ve known for years,” Campello wrote. “She is not that kind of person and has never done anything she’s been accused of.”
She revealed Sirigu had been deeply affected by being labelled a “family wrecker,” leading Campello to speak out in her defence. Emphasising solidarity and respect, Campello stressed the emotional harm such accusations can cause, especially when they are unfounded.
Professional Struggles Add To Difficult Period
The personal turmoil comes at a challenging moment in Morata’s football career. After pushing for a move away from AC Milan, the 33-year-old joined Serie A newcomers Como in search of stability and regular football.
So far, the move has failed to deliver on the pitch. Morata has yet to score in 15 appearances for the club, a stark contrast to the highs of lifting the Euro 2024 trophy as Spain’s captain just two summers ago.
With pressure mounting both on and off the field, the experienced forward finds himself navigating one of the most testing periods of his career—balancing professional expectations with personal heartbreak.
