Casado Reaffirms Barcelona Loyalty Amid Exit Rumors
Marc Casado has sent out a pretty strong message amid whispers he could potentially be sold by Barcelona this summer.
The rumor mill has claimed interest from Chelsea, while the latest updates have suggested he’s one of three players who could be sacrificed if funds are needed this summer.
Casado has responded on social media with a photo that needs little explanation and reveals his true love and commitment to the club.
The midfielder is set to return to pre-season with his team-mates on Sunday and will be aiming for another big campaign with the Catalan giants.
Casado made 36 appearances in all competitions last season for Barcelona, after being promoted from Barca Atletic, and played a big role in their success under Hansi Flick.
He will have his work cut out playing regularly next season, however, after losing his starting spot to Frenkie de Jong following his return to fitness.
Flick will also have Marc Bernal to call upon in 2025-26, and it will be interesting to see how the battle for midfield spots shapes up as the season progresses.
