The veteran midfielder made her comeback in the Super Falcons’ narrow friendly defeat to Cameroon women’s national football team ahead of preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The 32-year-old, who now plays club football for Ottawa Rapid, took to social media platform X to share her joy.
Posting photos of herself back in Nigeria’s green and white colours, Okobi wrote:
“Representing my country again after childbirth is … THANK YOU JESUS.
I’m grateful for the journey. Grateful for the grace. Grateful for another chance. I don’t take a single moment for granted. Thank you @nigeriasuperfalcons @thenffofficial for the opportunity again.”
