The deal is done
Barcelona have confirmed a first sale of the summer transfer window after announcing young left-back Alex Valle has completed a permanent move to Como.
Valle spent the second half of last season with Cesc Fabregas’s side on loan and the Serie A club have now activated a clause to make the transfer permanent.
Here’s the club’s official statement on the transfer:
“Como 1907 have exercised the buy out clause for Àlex Valle and as such the player is no longer tied to FC Barcelona. The cost of the operation is 6 million euros. The Club wishes the player all the best for the future both on and off the field.”
Valle went on to make 15 appearances for Como after switching from Scottish side Celtic in the middle of last season and has signed a deal with the Italian club until 2029.
Good luck at Como, Alex Valle!
