Tottenham agree loan deal for Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign France Under-21s forward Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich on loan, with an option to buy in the summer.

The 19-year-old had initially rejected a move to Spurs earlier this month but is now set to join the club.

A picture shared by his agent, Gadiri Camara, on Monday suggested they were both aboard a private jet.

Tel has made 83 appearances for Bayern since his 2022 move from Rennes, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists.

Tottenham recently secured a 2-0 victory over Brentford, marking their first league win in eight matches.

Ange Postecoglou’s side currently sit 14th in the Premier League but are in the last 16 of the Europa League and the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
