Savinho confident Manchester City will bounce back after 5-1 loss to Arsenal

Manchester City winger Savinho remains optimistic that his team will recover from their heavy 5-1 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Arsenal took an early lead through Martin Ødegaard before Erling Haaland’s powerful header brought City level early in the second half. However, goals from Thomas Partey, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz, and Ethan Nwaneri secured a commanding win for the Gunners.

After the match, Savinho reflected on the tough defeat but insisted City would move forward.

“It’s a really tough result to take today,” Savinho admitted. “It’s a really hard scoreline to accept, and one that we can’t go home accepting.”

He continued: “We have got to lift our heads now and look at how we can improve and take it forward into our next games. When I arrived at this club, I said one of the great things is that, even though sometimes we might lose, every two days we have a new opportunity to right these wrongs.”

Savinho believes City’s resilience will shine through as they look to demonstrate their talent and bounce back in future matches.
