Harry Kane advises Mathys Tel to prioritize playing time amid transfer interest

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has advised teammate Mathys Tel to prioritize playing time and experience if he chooses to join a new club.

Tel, 19, has been linked with moves to Premier League sides Manchester United and Arsenal, having already turned down a switch to Tottenham Hotspur during the winter transfer window.

Speaking after Bayern’s 4-3 victory over Holstein Kiel, Kane praised Tel’s potential but emphasized the importance of regular game time for his development.

“Mathys is a great young player,” Kane said. “I have worked with him for 18 months now. He has a lot of potential, works hard, and likes to train hard. He can still improve, but he has the right mindset to do so.”

Offering advice on Tel’s next move, Kane added, “Whatever his next step is, the most important thing is that he plays. My advice is that wherever he goes now, he should make sure he gets playing time and experience.”

Tel has made just eight league appearances for Bayern Munich this season, fueling speculation about his future.
