Ngannou had good outing against Fury, I’m ready to fight – Anthony Joshua
Two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has said that former UFC champion, Francis Ngannou, had a good outing against Tyson Fury, who is the current WBC champion.
Joshua is billed to fight Ngannou on Friday, March 8 this year.
Recall that Ngannou shocked the world when he dropped Fury in the third round last October. But he eventually lost the bout in a split decision.
Speaking ahead of his bout with Ngannou, Joshua insisted that he is ready to fight.
“I just feel to myself I will always be here and ready to fight any time,” the 34-year-old told Sky Sports.
“He [Ngannou] had a good outing as well against Tyson Fury who is the current WBC champion. So I think it will be good for me to see where I’m at,” he said.
