West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta wants to join Man City
West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta wants to join Manchester City this summer, talkSPORT understands.
Pep Guardiola’s side are keen to add the Brazilian star to their ranks as they eye a fourth consecutive Premier League title.
Paqueta only joined West Ham last summer from Lyon and helped them towards Europa Conference League glory in June.
However, despite the Hammers’ reluctance to sell one of their prized assets, the 25-year-old wants to move to the Etihad Stadium.
Despite this, the east London side are keen to sign City youngster Cole Palmer on loan for the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a stellar summer as he scored the winner for England in the Euro U21s Championship.
He also netted in the Community Shield against Arsenal on Sunday, although City went on to lose on penalties.
