Paris 2024 Qualifiers: ANFASSC Congratulates Super Falcons, Assures Consistent Support
After cheering the Super Falcons through to the next round of the 2024 Olympic Games Women’s football event qualifiers, the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club, (ANFASSC) says it will be available for the Falcons all through the qualification series.
The Falcons thrashed visiting Ethiopia 4-0 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday to qualify 5-1 on aggregate.
The National President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi made it known that his team had a swell time while cheering the Nine-time African Champions, he added that his team is determined to replicate what they did today all through the qualifying stage.
He said “We are delighted to be part of history, congratulations to our Magnificent Ladies, it’s a job well done even though the task ahead is still critical”
“On our part, we will journey with the Falcons all through, and we believe the Olympic ticket will be in the bag at the end of it all”.
Prince Ogunjimi also assured that ANFASSC will take the lead to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state when the Super Eagles of Nigeria host Lesotho in a 2026 World Cup qualifying fixture in November.
Up next for the Super Falcons in the next qualifying round is a two-legged encounter with the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
