Estevao Willian Shines With Brace For Brazil In 5-0 Win Over South Korea
Brazil’s new golden boy, Estevao Willian, has officially arrived on the international stage. Just days after netting a dramatic late winner for Chelsea, the 18-year-old dazzled in Seoul, scoring twice in Brazil’s commanding 5-0 friendly victory over South Korea.
Estevao’s magical moment
The Chelsea winger opened the scoring in the 13th minute, latching onto a slick through ball from Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães and calmly finishing past the keeper.
After Rodrygo doubled Brazil’s lead before halftime, Estevao struck again just three minutes into the second half, showing composure beyond his years. His brace confirmed what many fans already suspected — the youngster is not just Brazil’s future, but very much its present.
Rodrygo and Vinícius join the party
Rodrygo matched Estevao’s brace with two well-taken goals of his own, while Vinícius Júnior added the final flourish. The Real Madrid superstar picked up a long ball from Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha, sprinted half the pitch, and finished with his trademark coolness to cap off a dominant night.
A night of milestones
The game was also historic for South Korea. Captain Son Heung-min earned his 137th international cap, breaking the all-time appearance record for his country. Despite the heavy defeat, his achievement was celebrated by fans in Seoul.
What’s next for Brazil and Estevao?
Brazil now travel to Tokyo for a clash with Japan, and all eyes will be on Estevao once again. With his current form, the teenage star has made it clear that he belongs on the global stage — and Chelsea fans will be buzzing about what this means for their future.
