Real Madrid waiting on Michael Olise decision as Bayern stance blocks blockbuster move
Real Madrid remain interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, but any potential move depends entirely on the player’s intentions.
Club president Florentino Perez reportedly views the France international as a future Galactico, yet Los Blancos are unwilling to jeopardise their strong relationship with Bayern by forcing the issue.
Real Madrid taking respectful approach
Despite their admiration for Olise, Real Madrid have no plans to launch an aggressive pursuit.
According to reports from Spain, the club has made it clear that they will maintain complete transparency with Bayern Munich and will not attempt to negotiate behind the Bundesliga champions’ back.
Instead, the Spanish giants are prepared to wait patiently while monitoring developments surrounding the 24-year-old’s future.
The only scenario that changes everything
Real Madrid’s position is straightforward.
A formal offer will only be considered if Olise personally informs Bayern that he wants to leave for the Santiago Bernabeu.
Until that happens, the La Liga giants have no intention of making an official approach, respecting both the player’s contract and their longstanding relationship with Bayern.
Unless Olise actively pushes for the move, Madrid are expected to remain on the sidelines.
Bayern’s huge valuation creates major obstacle
Even if Olise were to express a desire to leave, Bayern are showing no willingness to negotiate.
Reports suggest the German champions value the winger at well over €200 million, with club officials determined to keep one of their brightest attacking stars.
Such a valuation effectively places the deal out of reach for almost every club in world football and reflects Bayern’s intention to build their future around the French international.
Transfer unlikely this summer
Although Real Madrid continue to admire Olise’s qualities, the chances of a move this transfer window remain slim.
The winger is reportedly settled in Munich, Bayern have no interest in selling, and Madrid are unwilling to create unnecessary conflict between two of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Unless the player dramatically changes the situation by requesting an exit, all indications suggest Michael Olise will remain at Bayern Munich for the foreseeable future.
