Arsenal Open To January Offers As Four Players Could Leave The Emirates

Arsenal may be flying high at the top of the Premier League table, but the club is already preparing for a busy and strategic January transfer window. After a heavy-spending summer that brought in Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi, the Gunners are now willing to trim the squad — and four players could be on their way out if the right bids arrive.

The push is partly financial and partly tactical. With Arsenal chasing trophies on multiple fronts and players fighting for minutes in a World Cup year, the club is open to movement to keep the squad balanced, competitive and financially healthy.

Arsenal’s Strong Season Allows Room For Squad Reshaping

The Gunners’ investment has paid off early. Arsenal sit four points above Manchester City and remain unbeaten in the Champions League, winning all four group games alongside Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.

But to maintain long-term financial stability after a big summer, Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for several fringe players in January.

Four Players Could Be Allowed To Leave

According to reports, Arsenal are open to offers for:

1. Gabriel Martinelli

The Brazilian winger has lost his starting place to Leandro Trossard and has managed only two league starts this season. If a significant offer — potentially from Saudi Arabia — arrives, Arsenal would consider selling.

2. Gabriel Jesus

The forward has struggled with an ACL injury since January and has fallen behind Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres in the pecking order. The club hopes he gets some minutes before January, either to boost his value or confirm his readiness for a move.

3. Ethan Nwaneri

The teenage sensation, who recently signed a long-term deal, could leave on loan. Arsenal want him to get consistent senior minutes, something that has been difficult with five Premier League cameos from the bench.

4. Ben White

The club are also open to offers for the versatile defender. While still a valuable squad option, Arsenal believe he could command a sizable fee if interest becomes concrete.

One Player Going Nowhere: Myles Lewis-Skelly

Despite reports suggesting a possible exit, Arsenal have no plans to let Myles Lewis-Skelly leave in January. The 19-year-old lost his England left-back spot and has fallen behind Riccardo Calafiori at Arsenal, but Arteta views him as an important squad member — especially with Calafiori picking up an injury scare on international duty.

A Calculated January For A Title-Chasing Arsenal

Arsenal’s willingness to negotiate exits is not a sign of trouble but of strategy. With the club finally back among Europe’s elite and looking to end their Premier League title drought, Arteta is shaping a squad that can compete at the highest level — while keeping the club financially balanced.

Whether big offers arrive remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: January at the Emirates will be anything but quiet.
