Carlo Ancelotti Breaks Silence On Vinicius’ Outburst At Xabi Alonso During El Clasico

Carlo Ancelotti Breaks Silence On Vinicius’ El Clasico Outburst

Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti has finally addressed the heated moment between Vinicius Jr and Xabi Alonso during El Clasico — and he didn’t hold back. The legendary coach confirmed that while the Real Madrid forward’s reaction was “a mistake,” the situation has since been handled privately and professionally.

With Real Madrid battling to keep their La Liga lead intact while juggling the Champions League and Brazil’s upcoming fixtures, Ancelotti’s words came as both a defense and a warning to his star player.

“He Made A Mistake — But It’s Resolved”

Ancelotti revealed that he had already spoken with Vinicius after the incident and that both sides moved quickly to clear the air.

“We have a very good relationship with Vinicius. When something happens, we make sure to talk about it,” said Ancelotti.

“I spoke with Vinicius about the issue, about his reaction. I told him what I thought — that he made a mistake. He apologised, and it’s a resolved matter. He’s a very important player.”

The veteran manager emphasized that there’s no ongoing tension between the Brazilian winger and Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso.

“He doesn’t have a problem here or in his club, or with his coach (Alonso). As for his personal life, it’s his — I’m not his father nor his brother, I’m just his coach,” Ancelotti added with a smile.

A Lesson In Maturity For Vinicius

Vinicius Jr has never shied away from the spotlight — both for his flair on the pitch and his fiery temperament. But this time, Ancelotti’s calm but firm response might just be the kind of mentorship the young star needs as he continues to grow into one of football’s biggest names.

El Clasico moments can get heated, and emotions often spill over, but Ancelotti’s steady leadership ensures the focus remains where it matters — on football, not feuds.

What’s Next For Real Madrid And Brazil?

With crucial fixtures coming up in both La Liga and the Champions League, Real Madrid will be hoping that Vinicius channels his passion back into his performances. For Ancelotti and Brazil, it’s also about keeping their key man focused ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.

In short — all’s well that ends well. Vinicius got his scolding, Ancelotti handled it with grace, and Real Madrid fans can rest easy knowing their winger’s fire is still burning — just in the right direction.
