PSV Eyeing Roma Man As Left-Back Option
As per Tim Reedijk from Voetbal International, PSV are considering signing Anass Salah-Eddine (23) from AS Roma. He hasn’t been featured in Rome and was previously considered for a move to Eindhoven.
Earlier in their preseason, Peter Bosz stated that he was satisfied with the defensive lineup of Sergiño Dest, Mauro Júnior, and Kiliann Sildillia. This, in turn, would also create space for talented youth academy players to get playing time.
However, Bosz also noted that Mauro was sidelined against FC Twente with a minor ankle injury and that he isn’t always physically reliable. Salah-Eddine could offer PSV a solution and extra manpower at the back.
The defender and midfielder, who came from Ajax’s youth academy, had a strong run of form at FC Twente in the 2024-25 season and earned himself a transfer to AS Roma. So far, he has only played 153 official minutes for Roma and is looking for playing time elsewhere.
According to Italian media, the Jong Oranje defender has options in several major leagues. PSV are angling for his services and hopes to loan him from Roma. Earlier in the window, Feyenoord also considered loaning Salah-Eddine from the Italian capital.
