Ikorodu City Promotes Five Academy Players To First Team
Five players have been injected to Ikorodu city main team ahead of 2025/2026 NPFL season after an impressive performance in the academy.
The players will be handed their first professional contract and a taste in the Nigeria Professional football league (NPFL) this season. Stars from the academy are;
Maliq Musa- Forward
Samuel Ezekiel- Forward
Dagogo Ibifubara- Midfielder
Gift Udoh- Right Back
Chiemerie Ezeaka- Center Back
Ikorodu City unveiled a partnership with CFMoto Partnership deal with automobile company seasoned as some new players has been officially unveiled to push for better outing ahead of new season.
Rasheed Owolabi- Midfielder (Inter Lagos)
Taiwo Alao – Sporting Lagos
Uchechukwu Onyemaech – BJ FC
Derrick Julu – Watanga FC, Liberia
The Oga boys has they are fondly called recently won the ValueJets preseason tournament in Ikenne would welcome Elkanemi Warriors in Lagos in the second league matches but will be the road to Ilorin, Kwara Sports Complex for the league opener against the Presidential Federation Cup winner and a CAF Confederation Cup representative, Kwara United
