Kane Praises Bayern Teammate Lennart Karl
Like many fans, the English striker is excited to see more of Karl next season.
Harry Kane was undoubtedly one of the biggest signings in the history of the Bundesliga. The Englishman was brought to Bavaria to score goals, and Kane has undeniably delivered on that promise. Despite the goals, there has been a lack of success with the club to acquire silverware (for Bayern Munich’s standards), apart from a league title in the past two seasons. One thing to be optimistic about with the club right now is the bright young sensation, Lennart Karl.
Lennart Karl has only been on the pitch for a very short time, but caught the attention of fans and teammates already. Kane now has the opportunity to not only score goals, but become a mentor and guide for younger players such as Karl.
”Lenny has been great. He’s been training really well and looks really sharp. He obviously has loads of talent. He has to keep working hard and improve. He has a great chance to play at a high level. It’s been great to see him score that goal at the Allianz, I know that will give him even more confidence. We don’t want to put too much pressure on him. He needs to keep working hard and let’s see how far he will go,” Kane told Cleats Club (via @iMiaSanMia).
One word that keeps coming up when Karl is mentioned is his work rate. Kane praised his hustle, but isn’t the first to say that, and certainly won’t be the last. His energy and attacking positioning were immediately noticed when he first came on for Bayern Munich at the Club World Cup.
Bayern Munich is certainly in safe hands with Kane, but adding another top talent to the attack certainly won’t hurt anyone.
