Miguel Gutierrez To Napoli: Deal Agreed, Medical Pending

Miguel Gutierrez is set to become a new Napoli player as reports from Italy claim that negotiations have been finalised between Antonio Conte’s side and La Liga side Girona for the defender’s signature.

According to what has been reported by Sky Sport, negotiations have been completed and all that remains is for the final details to be ironed out with the player, who has already said yes to Napoli ahead of a reported €20 million move.

Former Real Madrid defender to join Napoli
Gutierrez signed for Girona from Real Madrid in 2022, with the La Liga giants retaining a sell-on clause that will see the club earn a percentage of Napoli’s offer for the player. Since he arrived in Catalonia, Gutierrez has played 111 times in all competitions and was named in the La Liga Team of the Season in the 2023-24 campaign.

The 24-year-old was also a part of the Spain squad that won the Olympic Gold Medal in 2024 in Paris.
