Efbet Secures 3-Year Bulgarian National Team & Training Centre Deal
The Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) has signed a new three-year deal with bookmaker operator efbet which becomes the main sponsor of the Bulgarian men’s and women’s national teams. Efbet will also receive naming rights to the national team training base, which will be renamed the efbet National Football Base.
The BFU said the contract is the highest value sponsorship it has signed in the last decade.
The efbet logo will be placed on all merchandise, though not on national team shirts for official matches under the in UEFA and FIFA competitions.
“We have been working with efbet for a year and a half, and we are extremely satisfied. They always help, and the parameters of the new contract are much better. The base is now called ‘efbet National Football Base’. All partnerships are important to us in order to develop football and academies. Every partner is welcome, and we are happy for them. Some innovations are coming to the football base. The hotel will also be renovated from the outside, so that we can provide the best conditions. The investment will allow us to improve the pitches as well,” said BFU president Georgi Ivanov.
BFU Executive Director Andrey Petrov added that, in financial terms, this is the largest contract signed by the headquarters in the last ten years.
“With efbet, we have a partnership regarding sponsorship for the men’s national team, the women’s national team, and the name of the base. This is a strategic partnership, we signed a three-year contract until 2028. Thank you for efbet’s support for the development of Bulgarian football! This is the largest commercial contract that the Football Union has signed in the last ten years – football is made with money, as clichéd as it may sound. The contract is subject to confidentiality, but it is the largest in the last ten years, as I have already said,” said Petrov.
