36 Lion FC Prodigy Olayinka Ogunleye Joins Louisville University On Full Scholarship
36 Lion football club has added another feather to its enviable cap. And this time, it is a sweet mix of education and football for Olayinka Ogunleye, another talented youngster from its ever-growing talents pool, who is now on a full scholarship at the prestigious Louisville University, USA.
Standing at an impressive height of 1.93 meters (6 feet 4 inches), the left-footed centre back who is equally an exceptional student, has been tipped for greatness by football aficionados.
The management of 36 Lion FC in a statement celebrating the move, enthused greatly about the potentials of the highly rated 18 years old player.
“At the age of 18, we have supported his academic pursuits, and he is now a Freshman at the University of Louisville in the United States on a full scholarship. Our mission is to inspire as many talented young individuals, as much as possible to achieve success.”
Meanwhile, Ola who is strongly considered as a future Super Eagles prospect, has participated in 12 matches for his school, starting 11 of them as a formidable center back.
Football stakeholders and aficionados are upbeat that such moves portends a brighter future for Nigerian football.
