Sheffield United has secured the signing of Nigerian winger Christian Nwachukwu from Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old has signed a contract with the Blades until 2027, with an option to extend for two additional years.
Nwachukwu, who played a pivotal role in Botev Plovdiv’s Bulgarian Cup triumph and gained Europa League experience this season, expressed excitement about the move.
“I’m looking forward to coming to Sheffield to play for United and continue my development. I look forward to meeting the lads and getting started,” he told the club’s official website.
The transfer remains subject to the completion and approval of relevant documentation.
