Victor Udoh set to join Southampton from Royal Antwerp

Nigerian forward Victor Udoh is poised to make a move to Premier League club Southampton from Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Southampton has reached an agreement with Antwerp for Udoh’s transfer, with the deal in its advanced stages.

“EXCL: Southampton agree fee to sign Victor Udoh from Royal Antwerp, deal at advanced stages,” Romano shared on X.

The 20-year-old forward has impressed, scoring 12 goals in 27 appearances for Antwerp’s reserve side.

Valued at €600,000 by Transfermarkt, Udoh’s arrival will bring the number of Nigerians at Southampton to three, joining Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu in the squad.

Udoh joined Royal Antwerp from Hypebuzz FC in 2023.
