Rangers’ technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to bounce back as they prepare to face Ikorodu City in a crucial NPFL matchday 22 fixture in Enugu on Monday.
The Flying Antelopes have gone two consecutive games without a win, but Ilechukwu believes the challenging phase is behind them.
“We’ve navigated the most difficult part of our season and are now focused on regaining our winning momentum,” Ilechukwu said.
He acknowledged the team’s recent setbacks but emphasized a forward-looking mindset.
“Our last two results weren’t what we aimed for, but we’ve put them behind us and are looking ahead with optimism.”
While recognizing Ikorodu City’s potential, Ilechukwu stressed the need for a strong performance.
“Ikorodu City may be new to the NPFL, but they’re a quality side. We respect them, but we need a positive result and we’re ready to fight for it,” he concluded.”
