Cesc Fabregas has backed Arsenal to continue challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title next season, claiming that Mikel Arteta
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said Brighton are a “really difficult team.”
Arteta was speaking to BBC MOTD after his team thrashed the Seagulls 3-0 at the Amex.
Brighton have not lost at home since August and the win was the Gunners’ 10th of 2024.
“Very difficult; they haven’t lost here since August,” Arteta said.
“A really difficult team to play against and they asked so many questions, but the team was mature and clever in the game we had to play.
“In attack and defence, we had big performances individually. We missed some big chances, but the team looked really connected and had purpose. The last pass and shot to finish the situation could have been better, but it doesn’t matter as we kept going – really pleased to play here.”
