Emmanuel Olugbe moves to Norwegian club, Sogndal
Norwegian club Sogndal have signed Nigerian defender Emmanuel Olufemi Olugbe.
The centre-back joined Sogndal from Hyperbuzz FC, Abuja on loan with the option to buy on a permanent basis.
Olugbe impressed during trials at the club in February.
“Emmanuel is a centre-back with a lot of speed and good in duels,” Sogndal sports director, Flo Havard told the club’s official website.
”In the training matches, he has shown that he is a promising player with a lot of potential.
“Off the pitch, he is a nice boy who quickly became part of the group.”
The 18-year-old is in line to make his debut against Mjondalen on Saturday (today).
