Bala Abubakar begins reign as Doma Utd coach
Newly appointed Doma United head coach Bala Abubakar took charge of his first training session on Sunday ahead of their matchday 28 tie against Akwa United.
The former Niger Tornadoes coach was pictured on the club’s X handle dishing out instructions to the team.
“Straight to Work! Coach Bala Abubakar was in charge of his first training session as we had our final preparation ahead of our NPFL MD28 away at Akwa United,”
Abubakar is expected to work with former helmsman Akinade Onigbinde to halt the dwindling fortune of the Savannah Tigers.
Doma United are yet to record a victory since the start of the second stanza.
They occupy 13th position on the Nigeria Premier Football League table.
Doma United will lock horns with Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Wednesday.
