Yemi praises Finidi’s impact at Enyimba

Olanrewaju Yemi has acknowledged the impact of head coach, Finidi George at the club.

Yemi, who is assistant to Finidi at the nine-time African champions stated that he has learnt a lot from the former winger.

The young tactician is currently standing in for Finidi who is away on International duty with the Super Eagles.

Yemi led Enyimba to a 3-1 win over Niger Tornadoes in a matchday 26 fixture in Aba on Sunday.

“Coach Finidi George has done an impressive job with Enyimba,” he told the club’s media.

“The tactical setup we have been able to put together for the past two years has been good.

“If the boys had taking the chances created earlier in the game we would have scored more goals.

“We move on from here and focus on our next game against Kwara United.”
