Arsenal confirm deal for Okonkwo

Arsenal confirmed on Monday that their goalkeeper Brian Okonkwo has joined Isthmian Premier League side Cheshunt FC on a work experience loan until the end of the season.

The Premier League North London club confirmed this in a statement via their website.

Okonkwo joined the Gunners’ academy in April 2018.

The 18-year-old has experienced previous successful work experience loans with Hitchin Town and Leatherhead, respectively.

“We wish Brian all the best for his loan spell at Cheshunt and look forward to seeing his continued development,” Arsenal’s statement partly read.
