Cameroon Football Federation opens talks with Peseiro
Former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro is in talks with the Federation of Cameroon Football (FECAFOOT) over the vacant Indomitable Lions coaching job.
Erstwhile handler of the Indomitable Lions, Rigobert Song was relieved of his duties few weeks ago following the team’s poor display at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Incidentally, it was Peseiro’s led Super Eagles that eliminated the five-time African champions from the competition.
According to reports emanating from Cameroon, FECAFOOT have opened discussion with the Portuguese over the vacant coaching job.
Peseiro left Nigeria last month following the expiration of his contract.
The 63-year-old was in charge of Super Eagles for 22 months.
