Napoli caretaker coach, Francesco Calzona says Victor Osimhen is gradually hitting top form.
Osimhen has scored consistently for the reigning Serie A champions since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 25-year-old scored five goals in his last three outings for the Partenopei before Sunday night’s 2-1 win over Juventus.
The Nigeria international had his late penalty saved by Wojciech Szczesny but Giancomo Raspadori pounced to hand Napoli all three points in the game.
“Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen are two fundamental players for this team. They both had difficult moments this season, but are now almost back to their usual levels,” he said.
The forward has so far scored 11 goals in 16 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.
