Paris 2024: Super Falcons To Face South Africa In Final Qualifying Round
Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take on South Africa in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games final qualifying round.
The pairing was confirmed after South Africa beat Tanzania 1-0 in Tuesday’s second leg third round clash.
The reigning Women’s Africa Cup of Nations champions go through on a 4-0 aggregate win, after winning the first leg 3-0 away.
For the Falcons, they advanced into the final qualifying round after overcoming Cameroon.
After a goalless first leg in Douala, the Falcons won the reverse fixture 1-0 in Abuja courtesy of an Esther Okoronkwo’s goal.
The Falcons are seeking a first Olympic Games appearance since Beijing 2008.
