Petr Cech reveals manager he didn’t enjoy training under at Chelsea
Chelsea legend Petr Cech has revealed that he did not enjoy training under former manager Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge.
The former goalkeeper believes that the training under the Italian was too intense, like in a game, which got the players tired.
He stated this on Obi One Podcast.
“When a new manager arrived, Carlo Ancelotti, he was like ‘wow, this training is so intense, it’s like a match’.
“I was like, ‘no boss, it is the worst’ because I felt everyone looked tired and wasn’t training well. Carlo didn’t understand this because he wasn’t used to that,” Cech said.
Cech played 93 games under Ancelotti at Chelsea, keeping 43 clean sheets.
