Inyama calls for proper documentation for NPFL Youth League
Pastor Emeka Inyama, the Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Youth League has called on clubs to ensure proper documentation of their players ahead of the screening exercise holding on January 31 while the zonal qualifiers hold from February 1-3.
Inyama said proper documentation is required to avoid a situation where some clubs would have their players disqualified.
“We will be very intentional and meticulously strict in enforcing the rules to ensure that nobody who is ineligible plays in the competition because the youth teams are the future of the NPFL.
“Clubs have been communicated on the eligibility criteria, and they are expected to get every documentation ready to make the screening easy for all involved,” the founding Chairman warned.
Clubs are expected to arrive at their centres on January 30 to commence the screening.
The NPFL Youth League will hold across five centres namely, Enugu for Southeast teams, Lafia for North Central teams, Kaduna for North West/Northeast teams, Asaba for South South teams and Ekiti for Southwest teams.
