2nd Galadima Soccer Tourney: Over 100 Football Stakeholders To Be Honoured In Saturday’s Final
Over 100 football stakeholders are expected to be honouring by the organisers of the second edition of Dr. Ibrahim Galadima soccer competition.
The competition’s chairman of the local organizing committee, Engr Sulaiman Musa stated this in a statement signed the chairman, Media and publicity, Ado Salisu.
The statement explained that all necessary arrangements are in pipeline toward the success of the final scheduled to hold at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata on Saturday.
The chairman said that the competition which was organised in honour of Galadima’s contribution especially in the administration of football within and outside the country.
He hinted that those expected to be honouring at the final include the chairman of Kano state football association, Dr Sharif Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan, the former Special adviser in Kano and Gombe states, Dr. Ahmad Shuaibu Gara Gombe, the former chief of staff to the former Minister of Sports, Alhaji Abba Abdullahi Yola, former AFCON registrar, Alhaji Garba Bello Kankarofi and director of sports, Bayero University Kano, Professor Rabiu Muhd.
Others are Makaman Bichi and district head of Tofa local govt area, Alhaji Isyaku Umar Tofa, Sarkin Shanun Kazaure in Jigawa state, Alhaji Abdulkadir Adamu, former chairman of Kano Pillars football club. Alhaji Muhd Tukur Babangida, former director of sports, Alhaji Ibrahim Abba among others.
The chairman said that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is expected to be the special guest of honour while the state Commissioner for information, Baba Halilu Dantiye MNI MON is to grace the occasion.
The statement revealed that Junior Kano Pillars football club will host Ahzuba FC in the final match.
