Nigerian Dr. Tandoh Appointed Pioneer COO Of African Table Tennis Federation
One of the Nigerian notable sports administrators, Dr. Kweku Tandoh, has been decorated with another feather on his cap, as he has just been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Africa Table Tennis Federation (ATTF).
Tandoh, who is the Chairman of the Youth Committee of ATTF) would by this appointment be the pioneer COO of the African table tennis body.
The appointment was communicated to Dr Tandoh at the ongoing 2023 World Table Tennis Championships in Tunis, Tunisia.
Sports Marketing International gathered that Tandoh’s appointment is due to his remarkable achievements within the African table tennis field.
Tandoh has held many positions in the body of international table tennis, he was once the Tournament Director of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Nigeria Open Challenge Plus. Tandoh’s over 30 years of experience in sports administration has added value to the organization of the ITTF Nigeria Open Challenge Plus, Africa’s elite table tennis tournament.
He was also the Consultant to the Local Organising Committee (LOC), of the Edo 2020 National Sports Festival, LOC’s secretary of Eko 2012 National Sports Festival, and currently the Executive Secretary of Gateway Games 2024 National Sports Festival in Ogun State.
