Promoted Leeds United Clinch Championship Title With Dramatic Last-Minute Winner
Leeds United have won the Championship title after a last-minute winner against Plymouth.
There were wild scenes at Home Park as Manor Solomon’s 93rd minute goal ensured a title-winning return to the Premier League for the Whites.
It means the side finishes the campaign on 100 points for the first time in their history.
Fellow promoted side Burnley finished on the same points tally, but were pipped by the Whites on goal difference.
The club recently confirmed details of an open-top bus parade to celebrate their return to the Premier League.
After two years in the Championship, the Whites confirmed their promotion to the top-flight with two games to spare when Sheffield United lost at Burnley last week.
