Harry Kane Targets Robert Lewandowski’s Bundesliga Record With Bold Bayern Munich Warning

Harry Kane is not done making history in Germany — in fact, the Bayern Munich superstar believes his biggest Bundesliga achievement may still be ahead of him.

Fresh off another dominant title-winning campaign with Bayern Munich, the England captain has now publicly declared his intention to break Robert Lewandowski’s legendary single-season Bundesliga goal record next season.

And judging by Kane’s incredible form since arriving in Bavaria, defenders across Germany should already be worried.

Following Bayern’s emphatic 5-1 victory over Koln to secure the club’s 35th Bundesliga title, Kane wasted no time shifting focus toward his next massive target — Lewandowski’s iconic 41-goal league record set during the 2020-21 season.

Speaking during Bayern’s title celebrations, the 32-year-old striker confidently admitted the historic mark is within reach.

Kane stated that beating the record is now officially one of his personal goals and insisted it is “certainly not impossible” if he can remain fully fit throughout the campaign.

The scary part for the rest of the Bundesliga? Kane’s numbers already suggest he has a genuine chance.

Since joining Bayern Munich, Kane has become one of Europe’s most devastating forwards. In three seasons at the Allianz Arena, he has twice scored 36 Bundesliga goals, while continuing to dominate across all competitions.

Even during what some considered a slight dip in league form last season, Kane still managed 26 Bundesliga goals — numbers most strikers can only dream of.

His overall production, however, remains absolutely elite.

After smashing a hat-trick against Koln, Kane’s total for the season climbed to an astonishing 58 goals across all competitions. That incredible tally officially surpassed Lewandowski’s previous Bayern Munich single-season record of 55 goals, further proving Kane’s place among football’s modern greats.

Still, surpassing the Bundesliga’s 41-goal benchmark will not be easy.

Lewandowski famously achieved the feat in just 29 appearances, making the record even more extraordinary. Kane may need both fitness and ruthless efficiency to finally reach the magical 42-goal mark needed to stand alone in Bundesliga history.

Off the pitch, Kane is also making headlines for his contract situation.

Reports suggest the England captain is currently negotiating a long-term extension with Bayern Munich that could keep him at the Allianz Arena until 2030. However, salary demands have reportedly become a major talking point, with Kane allegedly seeking wage parity with Bayern superstar Jamal Musiala.

Despite the financial discussions, Bayern remain desperate to secure the future of the striker who has completely transformed their attack since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur.

For football fans, the prospect of Kane chasing down Lewandowski’s legendary record adds another fascinating storyline to next season’s Bundesliga title race.

If his current form is anything to go by, history could soon belong to Harry Kane.
