Make Room For Robert Lewandowski! Ronaldo, Kane And Neymar Joined By Barcelona Star In Exclusive Champions League Club

Robert Lewandowski celebrating a Champions League goal for Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski has etched his name deeper into Champions League history, joining Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, and Neymar in an elite club reserved for only the game’s most prolific forwards.

The Barcelona striker reached the milestone during Barça’s hard-fought 4–2 victory over Slavia Prague, where he once again demonstrated why he remains one of Europe’s most reliable goal scorers—even at 37.

Lewandowski Joins Elite Company

By scoring against Slavia Prague, Lewandowski reached 20 Champions League goals for Barcelona, making him just the fourth player ever to score 20 or more Champions League goals for two different clubs.

Before arriving in Catalonia in 2022, the Polish icon had already netted 69 Champions League goals for Bayern Munich. He has now crossed the 20-goal mark for Barça, cementing his legacy as one of the competition’s greatest forwards.

Only three players had previously achieved this feat:

  • Cristiano Ronaldo – Manchester United & Real Madrid

  • Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur & Bayern Munich

  • Neymar – Barcelona & Paris Saint-Germain

Now, Lewandowski proudly joins that legendary list.

Consistency At The Highest Level

Beyond the milestone, Lewandowski also recorded a remarkable personal achievement by scoring in his 15th consecutive Champions League campaign. Only Ronaldo (16), Lionel Messi (18), and Karim Benzema (18) have managed longer streaks.

Speaking after the match, Lewandowski admitted relief after opening his European account for the 2025/26 season:

“Finally the first goal came. Hopefully it will get easier now.”

His first Champions League goal dates back to 2011 with Borussia Dortmund, and since then, his standards have remained extraordinarily high.

Climbing The All-Time Charts

Lewandowski now boasts 114 goals in UEFA competitions, ranking him third on the all-time list, behind only Messi (132) and Ronaldo (145). With Barcelona still active in Europe, opportunities remain for him to further close the gap on football’s ultimate goal machines.

Future Uncertain As MLS Links Grow

Despite his continued brilliance, questions remain over Lewandowski’s future at Camp Nou. With his contract nearing its end, speculation continues to link him with a potential MLS move, possibly even joining Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick recently said:

“I don’t know where Robert Lewandowski will be next season. I’m really happy with him, but we’ll decide at the end of the season.”

Lewandowski himself has kept his options open:

“I still have time to make a decision. Right now, I don’t know where I want to play.”

For now, though, the focus remains on football—and Lewandowski continues to deliver at the very highest level.
