Victor Osimhen Celebrates Stunning Overhead Kick For Galatasaray
From the shadows of injury to the spotlight of global football, Victor Osimhen delivered a moment of pure, unstoppable brilliance — the kind only Europe’s most electrifying striker can produce.
After weeks of frustration on the sidelines, Osimhen didn’t just return for Galatasaray…
He returned like a storm.
And stormed his way straight to Baller of the Week!
In a pulsating five-goal thriller against Samsunspor, the Super Eagles talisman scored a calm, clinical opener to announce his reawakening. But the real masterpiece came in the dying minutes of the match.
A gravity-defying overhead kick.
A goal that froze time.
A finish that turned a 2–2 draw into a 3–2 Galatasaray victory.
It wasn’t just a winner —
it was a roar from Nigeria to the entire football world.
Osimhen’s fire seemed to ignite Nigerian players everywhere this weekend:
Raphael Onyedika scored his first goal of the season for Club Brugge.
Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chukwueze put in commanding Premier League displays.
Christantus Uche came off the bench to secure Crystal Palace’s 2-1 win at Craven Cottage.
And on the women’s side, the Super Falcons were unstoppable:
Chiamaka Nnadozie kept another clean sheet.
Toni Payne delivered a clutch assist for Everton.
Nigerian brilliance was everywhere — from England to Belgium to Turkey.
Osimhen’s spectacular overhead finish wasn’t just athleticism — it was emotion, resilience, and a message:
“I’m back. And I’m better.”
The 24-year-old’s heroic performance dethrones fellow Turkish-based Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu, who held the Baller of the Week crown after bagging a brace last weekend.
Now, Osimhen wears the crown — and he earned it with a masterpiece.
