Asaba 10km Road Race: Asagba Of Asaba Hails Organisers, Says Race Pride Of Our City
The Palace of the Asagba of Asaba has announced and reaffirmed its full support for the forthcoming Asaba International Road Race, scheduled to hold on December 6th, 2025, at the prestigious Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State.
His Royal Majesty, Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, expresses profound pride in the event, describing it as a cultural, athletic, and unifying symbol that reflects the spirit and hospitality of the Asaba people. The Asaba International Road Race continues to position our beloved city as one of Nigeria’s emerging centres for sports tourism, youth development, and international athletic participation.
His Royal Majesty commends the organisers for their dedication, vision and commitment to excellence, noting that the event not only promotes healthy living and global sportsmanship but also boosts local commerce, inspires young athletes, and strengthens Asaba’s standing on the global athletics map.
